Chris Houston

Sara Wolfe RN RM MBA ICD.D

Chris Houston (he/him) has worked as an international humanitarian worker for Doctors without Borders, the Canadian Red Cross and the United Nations. 


Chris is a newspaper columnist and reporter. He is faculty at the University of Toronto's Global Health Education Initiative. 


Chris has governance experience at North Hastings Community Cupboard, Doctors without Borders Canada, ALIMA Canada, Humanitarian Partners International and the Partnership for Maternal, Newborn and Child Health. He is a member of the Community Safety and Wellbeing committee of the Town of Bancroft.


He is a Community Fellow of the Dahdaleh Institute for Global Health Research and Fellow of the Royal Society of the Arts. He has a certificate in Arts & Heritage Management from Università Bocconi.

Sara Wolfe (kwe/she/her) is an experienced director with a passion for driving positive change and uplifting innovation. Sara has completed the Director Education Program through the Institute of Corporate Directors, and brings a unique blend of design, development, and strategy expertise with a deep understanding of Indigenous, queer, and impacts on underserved communities. Sara is dedicated to creating transformative solutions that bridge contemporary and Indigenous knowledge and worldviews toward the creation of meaningful opportunities for equity, peace, and reconciliation. Other current Board appointments include Health Nexus, (board Chair) and the Equality Fund. 


Sara is the External Director of Wilson College of Leadership and Civic Engagement.

Anita Schug MD

Anita Schug MD

Dr Anita Schug is a neurosurgeon and a co-founder of the Rohingya Medics Organization. Dr Schug was born in Myanmar, has lived in Bangladesh and Pakistan, and received her medical training in Ukraine. She now works internationally and in her home country of Switzerland. She has previously been the Head of Women and Children's Affairs at the European Rohingya Council.
