We speak about peace, environmentalism, democracy and inclusive societies at events. Recent speaking engagements include:

Our community food garden (AKA the Peace Garden) is actively used by volunteers and residents to grow healthy food.
Our program provides space and support to five local, grassroots food-based organizations. Our support includes provision of storage space, governance support, and events space, including for an annual seed exchange.

Our renovations are undertaken by local volunteers who are provided with a stipend for their labour. Priority is given to local residents.

We provide discounted and free use of space to local groups for learning and cultural events. Local, grassroots community groups use the museum's community room several times every week for non-violent communication training, book clubs.

Our annual Stories of Peace award has been running for three years and celebrates peace makers and provokes reflection on the meaning of peace.
Learning Impact
56.5% of our people who use the museum have learned skills or knowledge that they are already using in their life. A further 8.7% of people have learned skills that they expect to implement.
